About Me.
My name is Rūta Balžekaitė.
I come from Lithuania, education led me from one place to another, letting me learn more about audio in Tampere, Finland. Now I reside in The Netherlands, looking for projects related to sound design and creative audiovisual opportunities. I’d like to introduce myself as a sound designer/audio creative, always excited to find out new ways to play with sound. Occasionally I try new instruments, however flute and my voice will always stay close to my heart. Learning recording techniques, mixing & mastering, working with sound design, live events, producing music. Learning self-marketing skills, networking. Able to work in a recording studio, game company/startup, advertisement agencies, television/cinema studios, as a freelance sound designer or a performer.

Learning art theory and practice, working with different types of media, analysing and presenting my works to the public. Able to work in the creative industries - advertisement agencies, visual design, television and cinema studios.
